Get Paid to Interview Strangers & Share Stories of Kindness from the Heart of Singapore!

Do you love meeting new people and uncovering inspiring stories? Are you confident in striking up conversations with strangers?

Hi! I’m Gena, a community builder from Give.Asia. This year, we’re on a mission to record 1 million acts of kindness—because every small act has the power to inspire. To make kindness more visible, we’re launching an initiative to capture real stories from everyday Singaporeans. Through street interviews, we’ll uncover heartfelt moments of generosity, compassion, and connection—showing that kindness is all around us.

We’re looking for volunteer street interviewers and cameramen who are passionate about storytelling and spreading kindness. Your role? Capture heartfelt moments and meaningful conversations that will inspire others to do good.

  • Work in pairs—one interviewer, one cameraman. Got a friend who’s up for an adventure? Bring them along! Or come solo, and we’ll match you with a new partner-in-kindness!

  • Hit the streets and spark real conversations! Approach strangers, ask thought-provoking questions about kindness, and uncover incredible, untold stories that will inspire others. Who knows? You might just walk away with a heartwarming story that changes your perspective too!

  • Receive exclusive training with Kei from Asian Boss (3.8M YouTube subscribers!) to sharpen your storytelling and interview skills. Don’t worry if you’re new to this—we’ve got your back! Come with heart, and we’ll guide you every step of the way. The upcoming training is conducted in Singapore on Mar 2, 2025.

  • After the training, if you commit to weekly street interviews, you’ll receive $100 per day for your time and effort.—because your kindness in capturing these stories deserves to be recognized. More than just a gig, this is about spreading warmth and positivity, and we’re grateful for your help in making it happen

  • A flexible volunteer experience with a meaningful impact! We’ll work together to find a day that fits your schedule. We just need your commitment for one full day to make this project come to life—let’s make kindness go viral together!

We’re looking for people who are excited about making Kindness go viral through inspiring stories—if that sounds like you, we’d love to have you on board.

During my time volunteering at SRC, I was actively involved in various events and activities aimed at building resilience and fostering community spirit. One of my notable experiences was participating in the Responder for Resilience 2024 (Run 4) event, where I contributed to organizing and facilitating educational sessions. My journey with SRC allowed me to develop essential skills in teamwork, leadership, and community service while making a positive impact on society.
